UTV GPS and Navigation

If you don’t have a GPS unit for your UTV yet, it’s time to get one. Today’s GPS technology isn’t just more accurate than ever; it’s also more useful for a variety of contexts. And since UTVs are among the most versatile vehicles available, the right GPS system is a must-have add-on.

Perhaps the biggest benefit of packing along a GPS is that you can navigate trail systems. But not only will this help you keep on track with where you’re going, many units also record where you’ve been. This is perfect if you want to build a good route to follow again later or to share with friends. It’s easy to track each trip for ride reports. When you have a GPS unit along, you might even discover new adventures that you might otherwise discount or ignore.

If you’ve got the right setup and local laws permit it, your UTV might also be street legal. A GPS unit can steer you through town directly to a great place to eat or an interesting attraction. This is an excellent tool to have handy when you’re in unfamiliar territory and just want to bring your machine down off the trail for a quick bite to eat or another diversion.

A GPS is an excellent tool to have handy when you’re in unfamiliar territory and just want to bring your machine down off the trail for a quick bite to eat or another diversion if your UTV is street legal (as long as you’ve got the right setup and local laws permit it). We have many types of GPS systems, but we also have several different mounts as well. Some offer a quick-and-easy solution that allows you to remove your unit for other purposes. Others have a sleek, fully integrated installation process that will make it look like your GPS unit was built specifically for your side-by-side. Whatever your preference is, you’ll find the ideal mount here.

Take a moment to check out our selection of GPS systems and related accessories. Buy one today to get your UTV ready for your next excursion.

    Garmin Montana powered rugged mount

This is the best and most durable charging base I've used. I highly recommend this if you ride offroad and require uninterrupted power to your garmin Montana. The wiring harness has many wires for various sensors but personally I only use the red and black power wires.

    Baja Proven

I used this on a 5 day trip in Baja that totaled over 550 miles. I imported my GPX files in an SD card and it worked amazing! Zero issues with see in the bright sunlight, dusty conditions and hot temps. Zero lag or delay when displaying large files of waypoints. It literally worked flawlessly, the mount was as good as a universal mount can be, not perfect placement but it did its job. I only plug I used was the 12v supply to the battery. It did take a full day of riding to get the units internal battery fully charged. Having the ability to unplug it from the bike and bring it inside to review/change the following days trail was awesome. It has so many options thats its fully customizable. I thing I learned was that the internal battery will not charge if the bikes battery is under about 12.2v. So leaving it plugged in on the bike with the engine off didn't continue to charge the battery. Bike had to be started to make enough voltage.

    Works great

Very easy to use and works great with the shorty and handle bar Ram mounts. Use a camera strap or similar wrapped around your handle bars to give an extra added security for the just in case your GPS comes out of the holder.

  • Giant Loop Tracker Packer

Typical Giant Loop bomber construction. Worth ever...

Exactly what I needed. People have said, "We learn best by doing dangerous things safely" having a Garmin Inreach won't keep you from getting injured riding motorcycles, but if you do ride in remote areas, you must have a way to call for help even a relatively minor injury becomes a big deal if you can not contact anyone. the Packer Tracker allows you to keep it on you person 100% of the time.
